#115 yay school's back... how exciting......
This week is the first week of school.
number of lectures missed: 1
number of tutorials missed: 0
anyway i doubt that i'll be skipping lectures from now on. cos these time round, they seem super important. cant just live on printing notes from the internet anymore.
oh yea... i fainted while at school. had to be put on drip.
i hurt my little finger as well in the process.
must be cause of working and going to school.... like this week ive got school on 5 days and the only day i didnt work was on wednesday. im overworking...
i mean, seriously. this is the first time where ive had a meeting on the FIRST week of semester. never ever in my life hey... meeting on first week.
rahhhhhh im so tired.
but ive been having fun at Labs so far... on wednesday we were taught on how to give subcut and intramuscular injections.
first, we watched the tutor calculate the drug, go through the rights, and give the injections.
then we were told to do 3 injections on the dummies they had out for us. 1 insulin, 1 heparin, and 1 morphine. (these are all fake)
and then, for our fourth injections, we got to try injecting one another. under total supervision of the tutor of course. and it was just saline.
finally... my favorite part of nursing has come. and i was a little bit nervous before i gave the injection. but yea... it was not to bad. haha
and for today's Lab, we learnt how to fix up IV drips. which was how i got the IV bung.
and NO, i didnt faint. *my attempt of being stupid and faking people*
i did freak mummy out abit with it. i told her i fainted in school. (i was out in the city with my parents) then i told her i wanted to go to the toilet. and even after i told her it was fake, she was asking if i wanted company to the toilet in case anything happened. haha. well it was mean of me but sweet of her to ask if i wanted company. haha.
well yea i was wearing that thing on my hand while i was out having dinner with my parents in the city. and then i came home and took a picture of it.
anyway.... nothing else much with my life.
except that I MISS YOU!! havent been able to have nice LONG chats on msn recently. it's either you're working or im working or we're out doing something.
Thank God for mobile phones.

well im doing some professional practice issues in nursing and SERIOUSLY. thats one helloffa difficult subject. why? theres 2 written assignments, and basically a heck load of reading. not to mention about nursing bioscience, in which every week theres some sort of presentation or quiz.maybe cos of the food i ate last nite. haha.
